APPRENTICESHIP/CRAFT TRAINING
Apprenticeship/Craft Training is career education combining on-the-job training and related classroom instruction.  Apprenticeship typically lasts four years.  During this time the apprentice works under the supervision and guidance of a journeyperson while going to school one night a week.

ABC's Apprenticeship Program is approved training for apprenticeship students registered with the U. S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship and is accredited through the National Center for Construction Research and Education, located at the University of Florida.

Typically, apprentices/craft trainers get a job in the field and the employer sponsors him/her into school at ABC.  The payment arrangement is between the employer and ABC.  If the employer passes any of the cost of school to the student that arrangement is between the employer and the student.

If a student wants to go to school without a sponsor, payment arrangements must be made upfront.
