ABC of Oklahoma Committee Descriptions
Building & Property Committee
Inspects the ABC Office and Training Center’s buildings and grounds to determine repairs, upgrades, etc. to maintain value and professional appearance. This group also plans the Annual Street Party (proceeds to benefit building upkeep).
Business Development Committee
Plans and supports ABC of Oklahoma’s Excellence In Construction Awards Banquet. Also, promotes ABC the ABC brand.
Christmas Task Force
Plans and supports ABC's Christmas Celebrations in Tulsa & OKC.
Contractor's Showcase Task Force
Plans and supports ABC of Oklahoma's Contractor's Showcase.
Golf Committees - OKC & Tulsa
Plans and supports 1 tournament in OKC and 2 tournaments in Tulsa (spring & fall).
Government Affairs Committee
Monitors and works to affect legislative activities and directs information provided to membership.
Membership Committee
Develop and supports means and methods for recruiting new members and the retention of existing members.
Program Committees - OKC & Tulsa
Plans speakers and topics for membership meetings.
Safety Committee
Quarterly meetings promoting industry safety & ABC classes.
Workforce Development Committee
Develops and plans initiatives to attract workforce into the commercial construction industry.
Young Professionals (YP) Committee
Develops and plans programs and events for the 40 and under ABC members such as the Sporting Clay Shoot.
